gratitude journal prompts

The Thanksgiving holiday is the perfect time to reflect on all the things we’re thankful for. Whether you’re grateful for your health, your family, your business, or something else entirely, taking a few moments to write down what you’re thankful for is a great way to show your gratitude. Let’s look at gratitude journal prompts to spark your mind for an attitude of thankfulness.

Gratitude is an important factor in my spiritual life, which in turn is an indicator of my overall well-being. Practicing an attitude of gratitude helps me recognize God’s goodness and provision over me. When I remember the things that I am grateful for, I see how I am positioned in God’s will and that he is working all things for my good. Even in trying times, gratitude helps me overcome negativity, fear, envy, and self-doubt. The best part is that when we are in a state of gratitude, it’s seemingly impossible to not recognize the joy and goodness in life.

Gratitude Journal

One of the best ways to show your gratitude is by keeping a gratitude journal. A gratitude journal is simply a notebook where you record things, people, and events that you’re grateful for. Doing this on a regular basis can help shift your focus from negative to positive experiences and increase your overall happiness. Having a journal also gives you the opportunity to reflect on your blessings as time passes.
